In times like these, we need to pray. On Sunday, March 15, 2020, it was declared National Prayer Day. All over our nation, people of faith joined together in prayer to seek God's mercy and grace for our country and the world for mankind. Our country, along with nations of the world, is facing a crisis, and only God can help us. As we pray not only on this dedicated day on Sunday, but may we pray continuously and seek God's face daily until we receive a supernatural intervention from Him. May we take comfort in the truth of His nature, that He is good and His mercy endures forever. May we be comforted by His word that says "The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV).

Be comforted in His holy Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14, which says, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." In times like these, it is time to pray.
For the first time in my life, I am witnessing churches, schools, universities, sports stadiums, tourism, airports, nations' borders, and many other areas of our lives being put on hold all around the world. Since the world of people has entered the pandemic of the Coronavirus, things, as usual, are no longer as usual. Coming together as a people to pray has been the number one source of comfort. When enduring troubles and uncertainties, coming together to sing songs of praise and worship, strengthen our resolve to endure together. Because our world around us has quickly changed. This change has prohibited us from gathering in our usual ways to pray, sing, and worship God. We socially distance ourselves from one another for stopping the spread of the Coronavirus. This has challenged us to come with created ways to pray. We can come together socially on social media, live stream on the internet, and teleconferences and video conferences. Where there is a will, there is a way.

We shall endure the course that is set before us with the help of our God's grace and mercy. Please pray for our medical staff and health care workers, and the scientific community and their families. Pray that God will give knowledge and a cure against the Coronavirus. Pray for their protection and strength. Pray for our president and all our political leaders. Pray that unity among them will prevail for the common good of our nation and the world around it. Pray that God will give them wisdom on how to proceed. Pray that God will provide them with the heart to humble themselves among each other for the good of the nation and the world around them. Fear not, for the Lord of God is with us and He will get us through this.
